Morning quick take on the blogosphere

Topics: Blogger Round-up

Having gotten a late start this morning, I'll give you a quick-start by alerting you to a few items of interest on some of my favorite blogs.

First of all be sure to read "The Damned of the West 3: Interview with Carrie Hallums Cooper (part 1)" by Rusty Shackleford at Jawa Report. Rusty has been following the story about the American Roy Hallums who was abducted from his temporary Baghdad home on November 1st, 2004. He was in Iraq as a civilian contractor working on rebuilding efforts. His mission had everything to do with helping the Iraqi people rebuild their country after decades of war, mismanagement, and terror under the Saddam Hussein regime. What do we hear from the MSM on Roy and other missing Americans? Not a damned thing - but we hear plenty about Michael Jackson. I ask you, which story really matters and should matter to Americans, a sick pervert or about the many American heros of which Roy Hallum is a real story of the hour? This is a story that deserves blogger and reader attention. We all need to help get the word out on Roy Hallums and the other missing Americans.

Your next stop should be "Same Report, Two Different Conclusions" at inTheBullPen for a better look at that WMD report.

Also, be sure to read the latest press release from the Committee on the Present Danger, at Democracy Project. The Advance Democracy Act is a key piece of legislation that will strengthen America's ability to make our nation more secure by advancing the cause of liberty worldwide.

And don't forget to read about "Who Funds the Genocide in Dafur, Sudan?" at Blogicus. You'll be surprised to learn that China is now the largest foreign investor in Sudan, and, when the United Nations' Security Council passed Resolution 1564, threatening Sudan with oil sanctions unless it curbed the violence in Darfur, China rendered the resolution meaningless by pledging to veto any bid to impose an embargo.

If you are a woman, or just know one, you should finish up your quick check of the "sphere" at CodeBlueBlog to read "Part III and Conclusion: Mammographic Serfdom" about the "The Mammogram You Never Had," a very good article in parts. Good information that might save a life.
