ACLU Gets Tough On Border Crossings - Aims To Stop Americans From Crossing Into Mexico?Topics: National News
Michele Malkin notes that finally, the open-borders ACLU has found a border-crosser it wants to crack down on: FOX News's Sean Hannity, who broadcast live from the southern border on Monday and Tuesday night with excellent coverage of the Minuteman Project.
Hannity stepped across a fence for a few seconds, and now the ACLU and a Democrat state legislator want him prosecuted. If Hannity were a citizen of any other country besides America, the ACLU would be rushing to represent him pro bono as a persecuted "undocumented migrant."
However, one of Michelle's readers notes that If they persecute, or prosecute, Sean Hannity for crossing the border illegally, then they'll have to do the same to Bill Simon at CBS. He did exactly the same thing on 60 minutes Wednesday on last night's illegal "immigration" spot.

Hannity has the whole accusation up at his site. I managed to hear a piece of the conversation between the two. It turns out that Sean was never actually across the border. There's a three foot buffer zone between the acutual border and the fence he crossed. He even asked authorities if he would be breaking the law if he did it.
As for the freshman legislator with a law degree, her degree is in social services. She has no jurisdiction or understanding of border law.
