Scientists Find Soft Tissue in T-Rex Bone
Topics: General ScienceReuters
A 70-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus
rex fossil dug out of a hunk of sandstone has yielded soft
tissue, including blood vessels and perhaps even whole cells,
U.S. researchers reported on Thursday.
Another source for commentary on this find shows a great image of a fragment of tissue in the bone marrow cavity that is flexible and resilient. It clearly illustrates that the tissue returns to it's original shape after being stretched.
