Contact Amnesty International About Terri Schiavo (Updated)
Topics: Terri Schiavo's Life CountsUpdate 1: Amnesty International called back and said that they only get involved in death penalty cases, and declined to help Terri.
Just what in the hell is Terri under if not a death sentence by Judge Greer for the crime of being handicapped? (Please excuse language - happens when terribly frustrated with members of the Secular Society For Killing The Innocent)
More Updates below post!
- via email from a reader
I(the reader) called the Amnesty International office in washington at ll:00 and the woman i was directed to was Morgan Mclean (phone 202 544 0200).
Her response to being involved in the Terri Schiavo case was that they usually/specifically only work on death row cases - i said is that always and she said no not always. I reminded her that they were planing to murder Terri on Friday if no one intervened, and asked what about Terri's human rights. She told me that she would look into it and call or email me back.
I will get other numbers for Amnesty offices and email them to you. Do you think we should be making more calls to them to get involved?
My Response: YES!

Comments
Too late, I already contacted all of them, no reply yet.
Maybe we should continue to call and email anyway. Could be a huge response could change their mind? What can it hurt?

Regarding Terri Schiavo:
1. Terry makes the final decision regarding her condition.
2. Assume that Terri told her husband to pull the plug if she is in a vegetative state.
3. Pulling the plug for Terri meant removing life support and a swift death.
4. But pulling the tube means that this would result in a slow death.
5. Terri couldn’t possibly have had that in mind when she opted to pull the plug.
6. As a result allow Terri’s parents to care for her as they propose.
