Vietnam appeals for bird flu help
Topics: Health IssuesVietnam has appealed to the United Nations for help in combating a recent outbreak of bird flu.
In the past four weeks, 12 (13) have died and more than a million poultry birds have been culled. The government is inviting the Food and Agriculture Organisation and the World Health Organisation to send experts to help prevent the spread of the disease.
