Topics: Human InterestI was referred to this site tonight by a member of the Schindler family, as part of my preparation for an expected upcoming Hyscience article with possibly new information on the Terri Schiavo case. The Empire Journal has been carrying the torch on this story for some time now and is an excellent resource for both background and updated information on the Schiavo case. The following information is what I found on the EJ's site under "breaking news," The date of the article is February 1.

new report issued by the inspector general's office of Florida's
Department of Health indicates that previous complaints against Michael
Schiavo concerning alleged abuse and neglect of his brain damaged wife,
Terri Schindler Schiavo, may have been swept under the rug resulting in
a massive cover-up of alleged improprieties and possible criminal
wrongdoing in the case.
