100,000 Names on Petition to Save Terri Schiavo to be Delivered to Representative of Gov. Bush in Tallahassee tomorow.

Dr. Gary Cass, Executive Director of the Center for Reclaiming America, will deliver the names of 100,000 people who have signed an online petition on behalf of Terri Schiavo at a press conference, Friday, February 25, at 2 p.m. on the Plaza Level of the State Capitol Building in Tallahassee.

"The fact that this petition campaign, which began just yesterday, has generated online signatures at the enormous rate of 5,000 per hour, underscores how passionate people across the nation feel about this issue," said Dr. Cass. "They want to see Terri spared from the cruel and inhumane death by starvation and dehydration that may commence tomorrow at 5 p.m."

While I have leaned consistently in favor
of the Schindler family's belief that their
daughter's condition can be improved, who can be sure that this young woman, or any of us, in a
similar condition, would choose this pathetic
existence?

Yet I do not condone euthanasia, abortion, the taking of life.

In my thoughtful opinion, Michael Schiavo
should be removed as his wife's guardian. He
has compromised that right due to his adultery,
his denial to the Schindler family of their
daughter's medical information for many years,
his hearsay testimony of his 25-yr. old wife's
comment that "she wouldn't want to live that
way".

Maybe she would not. But why did he forget
to say this in all the time before he won a
malpractice suit? A suit based on his
testimony that he would care for his wife
"until death do us part"?

Having won the money, he and his lawyer
Felos fought for Terri's (wishes) right to die.
According to them, she MUST die!

Yes, I'd fight them tooth and nail.
Just maybe the Schindler's have too much hope,
but I smell something ugly about George Felos
and Michael Schiavo. Judge George Greer gives
me bad vibes, also.
