MICHAEL SCHIAVO'S ATTORNEY STATEMENT GIVES FURTHER CAUSE FOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION

Schaivo had been awarded nearly $2 million as a result of his medical malpractice claims and by court order, funds had been set aside to be used solely for Terri's rehabilitation. However, once he received the money, he refused to allow any rehabilitative efforts and instead, engaged attorneys to cause her death.
