Topics: Terri Schiavo's Life CountsEmails here at Hyscience are running 100 to 1 in support of Terri Schiavo's right to live. For the very few naysayers out there, here's a couple of stories to chew on.
Here's an excerpt about the recovery of a different "Terry" (Wallis):
Against all reasonable odds Terry's mother and father held out hope that their son would one day regain some semblance of his past life and live to walk and talk again. As reported by CBS News and every other major news organization in the world, in June of this year their prayers were answered as Terry spoke for the first time in almost two decades.
(Some have said that Terri Schiavo's parents are holding out against all reasonable odds)
Here's Sarah's story:
Sarah Scantlin was 18 years old when a drunk driver put her into a coma 20 years ago. Then Friday her dad says the phone rang.
"I got on the phone and she said, 'Hi dad.' She's 100 percent Sarah. She's using all her capacities to the maximum and that's a real inspiration. Sarah's back and that's the best gift in the world."
And more on Terry Wallis:
This isn't the first time that a "miracle" like this has happened. Last year Terry Wallis
came back from his coma after 19 years. Admittedly, he still thinks
it's 1984 and that Ronald Reagan is president, but that's not bad for a
"vegetable" that some people would have pulled the plug on.

I just don't see how anyone can read the stories of Terry and Sarah and still argue that Terri Schiavo should be killed.
