Great News for Republicans - Dean Emerging as Likely Chief for Democrats
Topics: National NewsIn what's good news for the Republican party but bad news for the country - having already suffered from an excess of vitriol in the last election, Howard Dean emerged Tuesday as the almost assured new leader of the Democratic National Committee. According to the NY Times this occurred as one of his main rivals quit the race and Democrats streamed to announce their support of a man whose presidential campaign collapsed one year ago.
A comment in the same article about Dean's potential leadership of the Democratic party help's to put the matter in perspective: "After 10 years, you have to wonder if the Democrats are running out of ways to say no'' to Republican proposals, said Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Texas. "But, of course, if they make Howard Dean their chairman, they can yell it.''
Whether or not this is actually good news for Republican party remains to be seen, but one thing can be counted on for sure - the liberal hate mongering vitriol will continue on for yet another election cycle.
