Warning: Australian 'aid' website under investigation

A website purporting to be collecting donations towards the tsunami appeal is under investigation by the Red Cross and Tasmanian Police.

A Red Cross spokesman said the site, http://www.incybernet.com, had asked for donations on the basis they were going to the worldwide charity organisation.

The website today featured a picture of a child with the Red Cross symbol in the background.

It also featured the Red Cross logo used for their Asia Quake and Tsunamis Appeal.
