Lets face it America - This Judeo-Christian Nation is facing a religious war (Redux)
Topics: Understanding IslamThis post has been updated and reposted - Note Update below!
After writing the previous post on the senseless slaughter of an entire Catholic family in New Jersey, I feel like there is a need to say more. The local northjersey.com reported that "Islamic extremists may have murdered four members of a Coptic Orthodox family." The Father, Hossam Armanious, spent some of his spare time in Internet
chat rooms debating about religion and speaking out against the Islamic
persecution of the Coptic Christians in his native country Egypt.
About two months ago, when he made a comment in a Paltalk chat room, he was threatened. "Some Muslim guys said if you don't stop this, we're going to come out and kill you," said a family friend. To which he responded: "Here is America , I am free to say whatever I want". -northjersey.com
Several bloggers, including here at Hyscience, have received similar threats. I'll leave it up to the other blogs to identify themselves should they chose to do so. We need to stimulate very serious discussion about the Islamic threat to America, which means the threat to each and every non-Muslim and moderate Muslim living in our nation. We can no longer tolerate the hidden agenda of Islam, nor it's religious intolerence and violence. The following is a re-post on very important questions posed by FaithFreedom.org :
Has America already become a dhimmi nation? Are the big American media afraid of the Islamists? Do the reporters fear for their own lives?
What is the explanation of this silence? How many more deaths do you need before you wake up and realize our freedom in America is hijacked? How many more innocent people should bathe in their own blood before you realize we are no more free in our own homes and the first amendment does not exist anymore?
If today, Muslims with less than 2% of the population, can intimidate you to the extent that you are afraid to report their crimes, what will befall on you (and us) if their number is allowed to grow to 10% ? -End item
It's high time that we started answering these questions, and get actively involved in saving our religious heritage for our children, we of this predominantly Christian and Jewish nation.
We must face up to the fact that like it or not, we are in a religious war and it is one that we must win!
That doesn't mean that we committ violence, it means that we protect and defend our families - first by demanding that the press do its job in getting the news out on this threat from Islam, and second by tolerating absolutely nothing from these Islamists. Cave-in on nothing, give no ground, demand that our Christian and Jewish heritage be respected and protected, and that all faiths should be of equal footing in the eyes of the law in theory and in practice.
Furthermore, secularization and relativism is anathema to people of all faiths. I was recently told by an Imam in a four page email that this secularization and relativism is a major irritant to Islamists and is in part, at the root cause of their negative view of the West. However, there can never, for any reason whatsoever, be an excuse for committing violence against others just because you disagree with them on matters of faith. Furthermore, there can never be justification for religious intolerance of any kind, nor for one faith to attempt to dominate another.
All faiths need to work together to deny the secularists and relativists the same ground that we deny the Islamists. Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and moderate Muslims alike, as the mainstream faiths in our country, must work together and win together the common battles we face against these elements. Our greatest danger is radical Islam which unfortunately includes many Muslims, so many in fact that we must assume that the majority of Muslims that routinely attend the mosques may in fact be of common mind with the radical Islamists. But there are many moderate Muslims and we should be respectful of their right to believe as they wish.
The bottom line? I'll repeat my earlier statement on the matter.
We MUST protect and defend our families - first by demanding that the press do its job in getting the news out on this threat from Islam, and second by tolerating absolutely nothing from these Islamists.
Cave-in on nothing, give no ground, demand that our Christian and Jewish heritage be respected and protected, and that all faiths should be of equal footing in the eyes of the law in theory and in practice.

Update: Reader B__ , commented:
"Please don't place all Muslims into the same category as the intolerant,
bigoted, murderous scum you have been describing. I feel nothing but
disgust for these people."
"I have many friends who attend mosques regularly, solely because it is a religious duty (e.g. Friday afternoons). However all of them share my sentiments. We abhor terrorism, in all forms. We believe in democracy, free speech and basic human rights for all." - End item
I assume that by using "we" the reader is Muslem also, but I can't know from his comments whether or not he attends a mosque himself. However, B__ 's comments are well taken and bring up yet another issue. His friends that attend mosques do so for "religious duty." Where do they draw the line on "religious duties" as described and proclaimed by the clerics in the mosques. I hope to have further clarification from the reader on this. However, yes there are many moderate Muslims who feel strongly about their faith while sharing the views of reader B__ , but the problem is that too few are willing to speak out as reader B__ has here in his comments.
In my email to reader B___ thanking him for his comments, I included the following statement:
"The very ironic thing about my comment
regarding "a religious war,"(in my above post) is that indeed there should be a religious
war - not between faiths, rather between faith and no faith joined by
all faiths, a battle in words and non-violent actions against
secularization and relativism. Of this I actually am agreed with by an
imam at UCH. However, my disagreement with him is on the issue of hidden
and open agendas, the hidden agenda being the Islamization of America
and the West."

Islam is a threat.
There is no such thing as a friendly chapter of the KKK. It is an organization based on hate.
Same with Islam.

"There is no such thing as a friendly chapter of the KKK."
Please correct me if I'm wrong (my knowledge regarding this is rather limited). I always thought that members of the KKK were 'God fearing' Christians who believe in the superiority of the white Arian race (because God created man in his own image). So if God is white, then the 'superior race must also be white (or vice versa).
However having said all that, I do not condemn all Christians for the actions and beliefs of just a small minority of the KKK.
"It is an organisation based on hate. Same with Islam."
I would much rather say the organisation of Osama bin Ladin and his followers is based on hate.

The followers of Osama bin Ladin are strice adherents to the tenents of Islam which is based upon hate.
Verse after verse of the Koran detail the prophet's proclomations to exterminate non believers.
Especially after he began consumating his relationship with a pre-pubescant girl.

Opium trade is halal in Islam: Bara scholar
BARA: Mufti Munir Shakir, a renowned religious scholar, has declared the trade of opium “halal,” legitimate, in the light of Islamic teachings during his routine sermon on an unlicensed FM radio station operating in Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency the other day. The Mufti is a popular religious scholar in Khyber Agency and adjacent areas of Afghanistan where a large number of people very regularly listen to his sermons on the FM radio station set up in Malakdin Khel area of Bara for the last six months. Poppy cultivation has increased several times in the tribal belt over last four years. Not only have the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan banned the business and cultivation of opium but almost all religious scholars in both the countries have declared the trade and cultivation of poppy prohibited in Islam. Answering a question, Munir Shakir declared the cultivation and trade of opium legitimate on the grounds that it was mostly used in about 98 percent medication. He said the use of anything that had the potential of having a positive impact and benifit on human beings could not be declared illegitimate and prohibited in Islam. staff report

I just learned of the Armanious family murders today. I am very saddened by it. May the murderers be brought to justice. May anyone who has information come forth without fear of reprisal.
May the Armanious family memory be eternal!
