The Islamic Hijab - Religious Expression or Political Prop?

Islamists are no more than fascists who intend to subdue peaceful moderate Muslims and non-Muslims by all possible means, including all tools of terror in all possible forms including psychological terror and war. Some of these tools are simply the use of symbols such as the hijab. Acording to one Muslim writer, Amir Taheri, there is no theological or historical basis for the hijab, it's only purpose is to subdue women and exert pressure on those that refuse to wear it and therein submit to fundamentalist Islamists:
"Muslim women could easily check the fraudulent nature of the neo-Islamist hijab by leafing through their family albums." "They will not find the picture of a single female ancestor of their's who wore the

The Islamic hijab is a fake, it is nothing
more than a cheap political prop, a weapon of visual terrorism. It is the symbol of a totalitarian ideology inspired more by Nazism and Communism than by Islam. It is as symbolic of Islam as the Mao uniform was of Chinese civilization.
The hijab is used as a means of exerting pressure on Muslim women who do not wear it because they do not share the sick ideology behind it. It is a sign of support for extremists who wish to impose their creed, first on Muslims, and then on the world through psychological pressure, violence, terror, and, ultimately, war." There, you have it now, I hope. The wearing of the hijab is the act of a weak submissive woman caving in to Islamic mysogeny, it is endorsing the abuse of women, plain and simple. The hijab is a tool of Islamofascist males to subdue women like they wish to subdue you and me. That is not going to happen unless we let the liberal left continue to unwittingly collaborate with our enemy to destroy America.
Now that we've dispeled the myth of the hijab having any historical or religious importance, we'll we'll take a look at other myths of the radical Islamists during the next few days.
