Good news for a change from our usually liberal and secular-minded legal system - town must allow Christian scene in public venue during this season:
A federal judge ruled today a Florida town must allow a display of the Christian Nativity this season.
U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia Altonaga granted a temporary restraining order requiring the town of Bay Harbor Islands to allow a Christian resident to display the Nativity alongside existing Jewish menorahs.
said Snowden had shown a substantial likelihood of success on free
speech and equal protection claims in her ongoing case and allowed her
to set up the display on Causeway Island, which leads to her town. Read More:
