Suicide Grenade-dog Attack Fails
Topics: International NewsIn yet another new terrorist tactic, a dog is used as a suicide bomber.
The dog was killed instantly by the explosion, Mr Ahmad said. The wounded were treated at a local hospital and released.
It was the first known time that separatist Kashmiri militants - the
suspects in the attack - have used such a method. No one claimed
responsibility for the attack.
Security officials could not explain how the attackers planned to pull
the pin on the grenade, send the dog in the proper direction, and still

A GRENADE tied to a dog's neck has exploded in a shopping area in Indian-administered Kashmir on Friday, wounding four people.
The blast missed its apparent target, a paramilitary guard post outside
a government hospital in Sopore, a town 50km north of Srinagar, the
summer capital of Jammu-Kashmir state, police officer Junaid Ahmad said.
