Palestinians Seek Arafat Medical Records

Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurie has asked France to release the medical records of Yasser Arafat, his office says.
Arafat, 75, died on Thursday in a French hospital, where he was taken October 29 for treatment after his health deteriorated. Neither Palestinian officials nor Arafat's French medical team have announced the cause of death.
Qurie asked the French government for the "full medical report into the death of President Arafat and the reasons for his death," the statement said. The intense secrecy surrounding Arafat's final days has aroused frustration and rumours in many parts of the Arab world. Read More...
