More on Kerry Discharge

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Truthlaidbear has some good comments on the continuing Kerry discharge story. If this story was a problem for President Bush, we would have already heard about it in the MSM. It is hard to believe that this issue, if it is as it appears, will escape the attention it deserves. I'd still like to see more documentation on this before jumping on the Kerry discharge bandwagon. The blogosphere shouldn't be a CBS-type medium. So I think that in the way of information it certainly needs to be reported, but juxtaposed with an invitation to the Kerry campaign to address the issue by releasing the good senator's military records. On the other hand, failing to do so imediately should signal both the blogoshere and the MSM to warn the public that information is purposefully being withheld that is critical to the decisions that are now having to be made by the electorate.

Again, this story is emerging too late to have much of an impact on the election, if any, and it is probably a given that we will not hear about this on the cable channels.
