Now the Black Watch soldiers are being investigated. The press can't seem to understand, it's called a war, and the terrorists are using every possible trick to kill our soldiers and Marines.

In Britain, Channel 4 World News:

The Ministry of Defence has launched an investigation after Black Watch soldiers shot dead a man they believed was a suicide bomber.

The man was shot as he drove a car at speed towards a checkpoint near the Black Watch's base at Camp Dogwood on November 7.

The incident took place on a road near the Euphrates river after the soldiers had ordered traffic to stop around 100 yards from the checkpoint.

Traffic had built up and a car in the queue suddenly pulled out and drove towards the checkpoint at speed, the spokesman said.

Warning shots were fired but the car continued to accelerate.

Earlier, it emerged Royal Marines are dropping surprise road blocks from the sky in a bid to outwit suicide bombers.

The commandos swoop from helicopters on to desert roads near Camp Dogwood base and search cars which could be carrying insurgents and terrorists.

They are being carried out to avoid the danger of fixed, ground-based checkpoints becoming a magnet for martyrdom squads.

British troops, who arrived at Camp Dogwood three weeks ago, have already faced two suicide bombings at roadside checkpoints.

In one of the attacks Black Watch soldiers Sergeant Stuart Gray, 31, Private Paul Lowe, 19, and Private Scott McArdle, 22, all from Fife, were killed. In another, several Queen's Dragoon Guards only survived because they were shielded from the blast by their tank.

The idea behind flying checkpoints is to have the commandos on the ground long enough to make several effective vehicle stops but not long enough for them to become a target themselves.

Senior officers also hope the tactic will have a psychological effect on insurgents travelling by road.

On a flying raid a dozen commandos cram in to a Puma helicopter with a Lynx as back-up. The helicopter touches down on a dusty desert road just long enough for them to jump off and take up positions along the route.

Let's think about this. There is a road block in Iraq. The cars are suppose to stop. Numerous civilians, police, guardsmen, soldiers, Marines, nurses, doctors, shop keepers, bankers, hotel clerks and the list goes on have been murdered in suicide bombings involving vehicles. Possibly, that is why they have roadblocks. A vehicle instead of stopping, speeds ahead approaching a roadblock. You are a Black Watch soldier or British Marine Commando, and if the car is a suicide bomber you and your fellow soldiers and Marines are going to die. what would you do? Why do they need an investigation?  It's  called political correctness and  the MSM. A child can figure this out and I tried it out on a 6 year-old.
