Iran nuclear missile, Is It The Sharab-3 Already Developed?
Topics: Middle East News and PerspectivesThe 'Australian News' has more on the Iran nuclear missle issue referred to by Sec. Powell on his way to the APAC meeting in Chile. Iran had announced last month its Shahab-3 ballistic
missile was now capable of travelling 2000km, and Hyscience posted on the Shahab-3 on Nov 11. It appears that the Shahab-3 is the most likely candidate for the conversions that are necessary to be made 'nuke available'.
Here is the Shahab-3 missle:
The Australian notes that "experts say putting a nuclear warhead on such a missile is a technically complex task."
Although the task might be difficult, if Iran can develop a nuclear warhead, they certainly possess the technical ability to solve what should be the less complex problem of placing it on the Sharab-3!
