Polls to Watch this Weekend

Topics: Political News and commentaries

Roger Simon claims that HorseRace is the best new kid on the block for poll analysis. Horse Race has determined that only certain polls are reliable, the others he says to forget about. His rational is based on political and sample bias, and on the weighting of some other polls - especially Zogby.

So according to Horse Race, the Polls to watch this weekend are:
Gallup
Time
Pew
Strategic Vision
Quinnipiac
Mason-Dixon
Battleground

He recommends that we don't waste our time with the rest, including the usually reliable RealClearPolitics which He believes to be too heavily skewed by the weighted Zogby poll. I read through his rational and it seems reasonable enough, but what do I know about poll analysis? It's nail-biting time folks - regardless of the party we support.
